Step 2: The child completes this written Work: download here: https://youtu.be/w01Ft4BAAuA This is step 2 – the writing process.
This is where the child actively engages with the new material by drawing, writing and visually associated the words with a picture.
Step 3 The child listens to the story.
Step 4 Assess the word banks by doing step 1 again but muting the sound on the video. The child then reads each word independently. Feel free to pause the video, at any time or slow it down using YouTube setting tools.Use the hexagon yellow shapes again for this. If the child gets most of the words correct, move to the reading step 5.
Step 5 This time the child reads the black box above independently. Click the step 2 picture and mute the sound this time for the story and again pause or slow the video as required.
